Lindsay Lohan checked into rehab.
“I have made a proactive decision to take care of my personal health. I appreciate your well wishes and ask that you please respect my privacy at this time,” said the 20-year-old actress in a statement issued Wednesday through her publicist, Leslie Sloane-Zelnick.
Us Weekly reports that Lohan entered the posh Wonderland Center in Los Angeles at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, arriving in a sports utility vehicle and clutching a Jamba Juice.
Zelnick confirmed to The Associated Press in December that Lohan was attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.

Lindsay Lohan was in a Los Angeles hospital to have her appendix removed... or something...
"She is having her appendix removed," her publicist Leslie Sloane-Zelnik said of the 20-year-old

Discharged from hospital on Friday morning, she was back to her usual 'activities' by that evening apparently in no pain,
dined at Pace and spent the rest of her evening at a West Hollywood club, heading home at 2:30 am.

Lindsay Lohan is being made into a Barbie-like doll by U.S. toymaker Mattel.
The plastic depiction of the Mean Girls star will be all dolled up to attend a film premiere, complete with a fur-trimmed coat, as part of Mattel's My Scene line, World Entertainment News Network reports.

"First" was directed by Jake Nava, who also did Lohan's "Rumors" and "Over." "I actually just saw the video recently and I was really happy with [how it turned out]," Lohan said. "Jake did an amazing job, and we had a great team there."

Herbie, the magical Volkswagen Bug that helped Lohan's character pursue her NASCAR dreams. The singer, donning some aviator shades, rocked out with her band on top of a checkerboard stage, amidst a whirlwind of flashy race cars and leather-jacket-clad hotties.

Hilary Duff's CD contains a track called "Haters" that appears to rehash her reputed 2002 feud with Lindsay Lohan over their love triangle with Aaron Carter. Though the song mentions no one by name, there are reports that some are suggesting Duff has Lohan in mind with these lyrics: "You're the queen of superficiality/Keep your lies out of my reality ..."

Less than two weeks after leaving a rehabilitation facility, Lindsay Lohan was pulled over by police early Tuesday morning in Santa Monica and arrested on five counts, including driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a suspended license and possession of narcotics, according to a Santa Monica Police Department spokesperson.
