ACTUAL COSTS OF THE TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS
As part of its annual tradition, PNC Wealth Management also tabulates the "True Cost of Christmas," which is the total cost of items gifted by a True Love who repeats all of the song's verses.
This holiday season (2012), very generous True Loves will pay a hefty total of -- $18,431.18 -- for all 364 items, up 2.6% from $17,963.18 in 2011.

of following through with such generous gifting (in the series of 12 Days of Christmas letters) from
the giftee, Agnes, to the gifter, John.
